General Objectives
In order to conserve and enhance a wide diversity of native wildlife and their habitats, while allowing species to prosper in captivity in harmony with the community.
To effectively manage the farm with the following key outcomes:

conservation, enhancement and restoration of wildlife habitat within the site and breeding of wildlife species in captivity;

research, and
-
education, thereby providing a place for people to appreciate animals in order to affect people's attitudes.
Specific Objectives

Conserve, enhance, and restore optimal populations of wildlife species.

Collect, document, study and maintain collections of living and traditional museums;

Set-up, maintain and develop appropriate living and traditional museums that will showcase natural and cultural heritage;

Preserve and restore population of endemic species of wildlife through appropriate wildlife breeding and selection procedure; and
-
Undertake research on breeding, adaptability, rehabilitation and conservation of wildlife species.

Maximize opportunities for positive interactions between wildlife and people.

Provide for a diversity of wildlife recreation opportunities through the development and maintenance of recreation facilities such as trails, interpretive stations, visitor centers, etc.;

Provide for a diversity of wildlife learning opportunities through the development of wildlife education programs and facilities;
-
Develop and distribute information that helps residents and visitors take advantage of the diversity of wildlife recreation and natural history learning opportunities available in the area;

Provide actual learning experience to visitors on biodiversity, environment, biodiversity and cultural heritage through interactive and proactive educational programs;

Increase awareness and concern of the community on environment, biodiversity and cultural heritage and to encourage conservation, protection and development of the same;

Serve as center of education, science and technology and recreation in line with the thrusts and programs of the Lombija Wildlife Research Foundation, Inc..; and
-
Provide training ground for students and the youth towards instilling awareness, concern and positive values on the significance of environment and cultural heritage, and their conservation.

Minimize opportunities for conflicts between wildlife and people, while responding to conflict situations as required.

Design and maintain recreation facilities to minimize the risk of human-wildlife conflicts; and

Respond to wildlife conflicts in ways that balance public safety needs with humane wildlife control methods.

Foster a sense of stewardship for wildlife and their habitats among the public, non-governmental organizations, and local governmental agencies.

Promote cooperative efforts that help the variety of public agencies share and integrate information and resources dedicated to wildlife management;

Promote increased public involvement in wildlife stewardship through the development of volunteer projects.

Promote the economic, social and other benefits related to wildlife and their habitats.

Support research efforts that will help identify the benefits of wildlife.
